Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new orthogonal spreading technique for MC-CDMA systems by which multiuser interference due to multipath delay can be removed. In the scheme, the spreading codes are sinusoidal waves with different time periods, so this paper also proposes that the spreading and multiplexing process be accomplished by IFFT circuits. Because, using the scheme, the multiuser interference occurs only between a specific combination of spreading codes, maximum likelihood estimation by the Viterbi algorithm can easily be applied so that bit errors due to multiuser interference is reduced. The simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme shows better characteristic than conventional schemes.
