Abstract(in English) | The authors have been studying for realizing ultra-low-latency mobile networks, in which the End-to-End latency is quite short. For such an ultra-low-latency mobile network, we present an adaptive error correction control scheme in this paper. In the proposed scheme, a SR-SW-ARQ protocol, which is a combination of Selective Repeat (SR) and Stop-and-Wait (SW) ARQ, is adopted at the link layer. Moreover, an adaptive FEC (Forward Error Correction) scheme that has a different redundancy rate depending on the number of retransmissions is adopted at the physical layer. Simulations of the proposed adaptive error correction scheme are conducted based on the OFDM system. The simulation results verify that the proposed scheme provides better performance in terms of error rate and less transmission latency compared to the conventional scheme which has a static redundancy FEC scheme and SR-ARQ protocol. |
