Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Traffic demand for real-time services have recently been increasing as well as non real-time services because of the rapid improvement of transmission speed in communication networks. In accordance with the continuous effort of developing broadband and high-speed communications networks, it is anticipated that real-time services will explode due to new communications traffic for machine-to-machine communications in the future ubiquitous network society, in addition to the traffic demand for user-to-user real-time communications services. The authors proposed "ultra low-latency mobile networks, " in which the target of the end-to-end one-way latency is 10ms, in order to establish a new communications infrastructure capable of providing next-generation real-time services. This paper introduces a model of the ultra low-latency mobile networks and service images using the ultra low-latency mobile networks. Results of a feasibility study are also presented. |
