Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multiband OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems can realize high data rate transmission by dividing the frequency spectrum to multiple bands. One way to realize high data rate is to use high code rate error correcting codes and multilevel modulations. In this report, we evaluate the errror rate performance of high data rate multiband OFDM systems using 16QAM modulation and Simplified LDPC code and Array LDPC code as high code rate LDPC codes. From simulatin results, we show that at data transmission rates of 480, 640, 960 Mbps, Simplified LDPC codes are suitable for High-Data-Rate multiband OFDM systems, and at data transmission rates of 560, 1120 Mbps, Array LDPC codes are suitable for High-Data-Rate multiband OFDM systems, respectively.
