Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a frequency domain channel estimation scheme using time window for OFDM transmission in the presence of the guard band. In its channel estimation, the extraction of the desired signal from the delay profile obtained by IFFT processing improves the accuracy of the channel estimates. However, the estimation performance is degraded in the presence of the guard band because the partial channel frequency response causes an imperfect delay profile. So far we proposed the method to complete a channel frequency response by using the extrapolation based on the NLMS adaptive filter algorithm and demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed approach. In this paper, we present the performance of the scheme using the RLS adaptive filter algorithm to further improve the performance and show the effectiveness of the proposed approach compared with the conventional scheme by means of the computer simulation.
