Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Implanted devices are largely researched for various applications at the present. Especially, such antennas have to be exactly evaluated and their performances verified because of the influence of the electrical characteristics of a human body. In this paper, the implanted PIFA with a superstrate is proposed for 2.4 GHz ISM-band applications. The implanted PIFA was designed by the FDTD simulation and measured by using the 2/3-muscle equivalent solid phantom. This antenna will be able to use as a short-range wireless communication system for medical applications.
