Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a novel gradationally controlled voltage inverter with non-N-adic number voltage step. The voltage step condition to minimize the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the output voltage is derived in the theory, and it reports on the result of the verification by the experiment. Moreover, various output voltage characteristics of the proposed inverter are clarified. This proposed inverter can expect application, saying that AC power for the region without electricity, AC power for the vehicle, and AC power for the outdoors.
