Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a method to eliminate telops from videos. The method gets restored images from some continuous frames of a video using KL expansion. This method is one of the extension of BPLP method. However, the proposed method do not need autocorrelation and fractal of images unlike BPLP method. In experiments, we made a video with moving a telop for twelve standard images and eliminated the telop by the proposed method and BPLP method. The proposed method took better mean square errors for all images than BPLP method. Also, in BPLP method, the telop were recognized from restored images. On the other hand, it was almost difficult to read the telop from restored images of the proposed method.
