| 抄録(英) | Although a lot of immersive systems have been developed in order to make us feel "real", most of them require high skill of us in using the systems. In this matter, an improvement in using them is necessary, which can make unskilled users handle the systems easily. Namely, improvement of user interfaces is essential for the system, since we contact a virtual world through the interfaces. The user interfaces for an immersive system are classified into haptic and nonhaptic ones. Haptic interfaces are usually used to manipulate objects in a virtual world. However, they are expensive and performance differs very much as well as they require high skill. On the other hand, non-haptic interfaces are relatively cheap and easy to be accustomed. Usually they are used for movement of a user's view and indication of selection of an item from menus. However, they do not always use for manipulation of objects in a virtual world. Then, an non-haptic input interface is proposed in this paper, by which an unskilled user can manipulate objects more immersively. The proposed system contributes development of user-friendly systems. |
