Abstract(in English) | A variety of advanced waveguide lasers have been demonstrated in rare-earth-doped LiNbO_3. In this work, we proposed Yb-indiffused LiNbO_3 waveguide lasers using annealed/proton-exchanged (APE) channel waveguides. Various characteristics of Yb:LiNbO_3 APE waveguides were measured, and the results were used for designing the waveguide lasers. Yb-indiffused LiNbO_3 waveguide lasers were fabricated and tested. CW laser oscillation was achieved. |
