Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose three-tuple encoding to identify Exon-Intron boundaries of gene by Support Vector Machine. In conventional experiments by Genetic Programing or Neural Network, they used 2-bits or 4-bits binary encoding to express the bases. We focuced on that only the euclidean distance is used in Support Vector Machine. We propose three-tuple encoding which the three-tuple encoding has some features that the euclidean distance of between bases is equal, and dimension of a code is small. We compared with boundary identification rate among three kinds of based expression. The identification rate of three-tuple expression was high as well as one of 4-bit.
