Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a fast QoS handover by rerouting QoS path before handover. The QoS path is rerouted to pass through the new access router (NAR) using NSIS QoS protocols, which are being standardised in Next Steps In Signaling (NSIS) working group [1] of Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). The proposal does not require a crossover node discovery to avoid double resource reservation. Procedures of the proposal and its effectiveness are shown in this paper as well as an introduction of NSIS QoS protocols.
