Construction of Intelligent Table Understanding System with Answering Questions of Natural Languages Concerning the Table

Abstract(in English) We can answer questions concerning table by acquisition of many knowledge from the table. If computer can understand table it can acquire knowledge from table, and it is considered the computer is more intelligent, and it can answer questions about table. This paper constructs intelligent table understanding system with analysis of structure and contents of tables, and answering questions of natural language, using concept-base and commonsense judgment system. We propose a method of answering not only questions construction by words mentioned in table, but also include words not mentioned in table. The correct answer rate of 60% is gained by this method.
