| Abstract(in English) | In 2000, Digital Satellite Broadcasting began in Japan and Digital Terrestrial broadcasting started in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in 2003, followed by the other areas progressively. The present situation of the digital broadcasting, and the related technologies, and new broadcasting services will be discussed in this presentation. Also research and development on program-material transmission systems and future new broadcasting systems will be introduced here |
