Abstract(in English) Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) will provide Radio Navigation Satellite Service (RNSS) and Communications/Broadcasting services without shadowing by tall buildings or high mountains. Used in concert with GPS, this will provide a space-based, all-weather, continuous radio-navigation, positioning and intelligent Communications/Broadcasting services with enhanced capabilities for users. This paper discusses the project using QZSS and the associated progress that has been studied to date.
