Abstract(in English) This paper describes a novel resource allocation scheme for multi-beam satellite communication systems that can dynamically offer maximum communication capacity without compromising quality. The scheme combines two resource allocation schemes that enable it to deal with an ever-changing user distribution and inter-beam interference conditions. The first step optimizes the resources amongst beams to minimize inter-beam interference. For this purpose, the optimal constraints are clarified when all clusters share and occupy the same bandwidth completely. The second step manages the various needed resources and adapts them to the beam gain and interference levels at various user locations within a spot beam. To secure a stable communication quality, a fixed power density with adaptive modulation method is proposed. This two-layered scheme can satisfactorily allocate multi-beam satellite resources, while increasing communication capacity and improving quality.
