| 抄録(和) | 筆者は, バースト符号誤り時間の開始と終了を特定し, 符号誤り状態をグレード分けする手法を提案してきた.本稿では, 同手法の概要を示したあと, 伝送品質の評価・制御への適用を検討する.最初に, 伝送品質評価として, 符号誤り品質および通話品質の評価への提案法の適用を検討する.具体的には, ITU-Tが勧告している符号誤り品質尺度SESをとり上げ, 提案法がSESの評価に有効であることを示す.次に, 符号誤りによる通話品質劣化推定への利用例を示す.また, 伝送品質制御として, パケット伝送における誤り制御への適用を検討し, 提案法が代表的な自動再送要求ARQ方式, およびARQと前方誤り訂正FECを組み合わせたハイブリッド方式において, 伝送効率向上に有効であることを示す. |
| 抄録(英) | The author has proposed the method for determining both the beginning and ending times of a burst error duration and for grading bit error conditions. This report summarizes the method and discusses its application in evaluation and control of transmission performance. First, in terms of transmission performance evaluation, it focuses bit error performance and speech quality, and illustrates that the method is effective in characterizing SES(Severely Errored Second), a burst error performance measure recommended by ITU-T, and in estimating the speech quality degradation due to bit errors. Further, it concerns performance control of packet transmission and exemplifies that the method can improve transmission efficiency in both the representative ARQ(Automatic Repeat Request) scheme and the hybrid scheme using the ARQ and FEC(Forward Error Correction). |
