Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The message transfer delay in voice chatting sometimes makes its participants feel unpleasant or utter another message which might be interrupted by a reply message. Such negative effects might be occurred because each participant does not know the status of other participants, that is, he/she dose not know the reason of the reply delay. In this paper, the status monitor of voice play in remote site is introduced to reduce above negative effects. We introduce two kinds of status monitor and evaluated them experimentally. The result shows that the status monitor makes participants wait the reply even if there is certain amount of delay time. It also reduces their unpleasant feeling caused by the delay time. |
