Authoring of Location-based Information Using GIS Data and Augmented Reality

Abstract(in English) This paper describes an authoring system which supports authors of location-based information systems to manage the contents. This paper proposes an authoring system which authors can manage contents efficiently by authoring with two phases : 2D or 3D map based authoring phase and an AR view based authoring phase. In the map based authoring phase, the author can arrange location-based information with 2D or 3D map views. The AR view based authoring phase makes it possible to intuitively modify the contents by viewing AR scenes. Examples of authoring using a prototype system are shown to confirm the feasibility of the proposed system.
