Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, in consideration of a fact that transition movement had much information as sign language, we analyzed arrival exercise between two points in a sign language word and transition movement. By orbit plan of exercise of a robot, as the conditions it becomes stable operating, continued acceleration is needed. We assumed that the condition same at least is needed in a natural motion of human. We approximated arrival exercise between two points in a sign language to a reply wave pattern of a step signal whose acceleration is continuation. We proposed a method to express Japanese sign language with CG animation by a reply wave pattern of a step signal. In addition, we implemented the technique to a sign language CG animation system and conducted a comparison experiment with the conventional technique. We confirmed the effectiveness.
