Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed an eye-gaze input system for physically handicapped people. The system is configured with a personal computer and a home video camera that is used under natural light. We proposed a character input system for communication aid as an application of the eye-gaze input system. Our character input system uses a method of direct selection. This method is achieved by switching indicators group. This system is able to convert Kana to Kanji with a few steps. This paper proposes an expanded eye-gaze input system with general Windows operation functions.
