Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On the optical label network, label generating and coding should be done immediately. In addition, it is required that spectrum is narrow and enough code patterns are available. To meet these problems, we introduced "Spectrum-Time Modulation", which uses Mode-Locked Laser Diode (MLLD) and Fiber Brag Grating (FBG) en/decoder. In this report, we examined this method by simulations and experiments, and got more than 10dB peak-intensity difference between self/cross correlation waveforms. We found it possible to interconnect more than 100 networks by using FBG en/decoder modulated by this method.
