Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The wide-area augmentation systems improving the performance of GPS in terms of positioning accuracy and/or navigational reliability are now available as US WAAS and Japanese MSAS (under operational test), and Japan is developing QZSS regional satellite navigation system to be having L1-SAIF augmentation signal similar to WAAS and MSAS. In general, the wide-area augmentation system generates and broadcasts differential correction information regarging to each ranging error source. Essentially such differential corrections are comparable with the precise orbit information and the ionosphere database (TEC map). The authors will report the results of quality evaluation of differential correction information of MSAS and wide-area augmenation prototype system developed by ENRI, based on preceise orbit and ionosphere database provided by International GNSS Service (IGS).
