Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have made a fixed principal point camera head for composing camera images to high resolution omnidirectional image or panoramic image. With zooming and focusing of camera lens, the principal point of camera lens usually moves forward or backward. And if the point is not on the center of rotation of the camera, the composed image dose not go well. In this paper, we describe the newly developed camera head which can fix the principal point with zooming or focusing data. Using this camera head, we construct horizontal and vertical high resolution panoramic images from about 150-1000 camera images, and finally could compose them to the whole view image.
