| 抄録(和) | 我々は,脳画像研究の知見に基づいて,情動的表情が顔の知覚を促進するという仮説を立てた.この仮説について検討するため,情動的(快・不快)あるいは中性の表情を表出した顔の知覚成績を調べる4つの実験(被験者はそれぞれ12-18名)を行った.顔刺激を左右どちらかの視野に瞬間的に呈示し,被験者はこれを見本照合手続き(Magnussen et al., 1994)により同定した.その結果,全実験を通して,情動的表情を表出した顔の知覚は中性表情のものに比べてはるかに正確であることが示された.また,不快表情を表出した顔のほうが,快のものよりも知覚されやすいことも示された. |
| 抄録(英) | Based on the findings of neuroimaging study, we hypothesized that emotional expressions enhance perception of the faces. To test this hypothesis, we investigated psychological performance in perception of a face showing either emotional (positive or negative) or neutral expressions through four experiments, each contained 12-18 subjects. The target face was presented briefly in either left or right visual field and the subject identified it in match-to-sample procedure (Magnussen et al., 1994). The results of a series of experiments demonstrated that perception of the faces with emotional expressions were strikingly accurate as opposed to the faces with neutral expressions. Furthermore, it was revealed that the faces with negative emotion were perceived more accurately than those of positive emotion. |
