| 抄録(和) | 無線環境下においてTCP/IP伝送を行う場合,有線環境と比較して劣悪な通信状態が発生するため,伝送特性が著しく劣化することがある.その対策として,IP層の下位層に誤り訂正方式やARQ方式を適用する検討がなされている.本稿では,それら対策技術の中のARQ方式に着目し,ネットワークシミュレータnsにStop-and-wait,Go-back-N,Selective Repeatの代表的な再送アルゴリズムを実装し,無線回線におけるTCPスループット特性を取得するとともに,ARQ方式によるTCP性能の改善効果を明らかにする. |
| 抄録(英) | When performing TCP/IP transmission over wireless environment, its performance deteriorates significantly because of the poor channel condition present compared to wired environments. As countermeasures for this, an application of FEC (Forward Error Correction) and ARQ (Automatic Repeat reQuest) techniques to lower layers of IP layer is effective to improve performance. In this paper, we focused on ARQ techniques and by implementing Stop-and-Wait, Go-back-N and Selective Repeat ARQ algorithms to network simulator, we obtain TCP throughput performance over wireless channel and demonstrate/evaluate its performance improvement by introducing ARQ techniques. |
