Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report identifies problems associated with bandwidth assignment to each link of point-to-multipoint communications with Bluetooth by means of poll interval. We point out two problems. One is that the control of poll interval does not work when the poll interval of the target link is larger than the number of necessary slots for the master to poll all the slaves in a round. The other is that the traffic pattern of slaves affects bandwidth assignment. The former has been confirmed by experiment. In the experiment, data are transmitted from slaves to the master with DM1 packets. The packet type which we use is DM1. We suppose no fading environment and add white noise by which interference from DSSS systems is modeled. We use the throughput of each link as a performance measure.
