| Abstract(in English) | Now, the importance of the Internet in mobile environment is asserted strongly and Hotspot wireless LAN attracts attention as an Internet access means replaced with a cellular phone or PHS. Japan Telecom observed wireless LAN from early time and started the experiment of a wireless LAN Internet access service with East Japan Railway Company at the Tokyo station from September; 2001.This paper reports the view of the subject of wireless LAN service, and future wireless LAN in hotspots. |
