Abstract(in English) | Instant Message(IM) is a remarkable application on the internet in recent years. IM has the function of presence that opens, refers and updates the status and profile information of user. It plays an important role of communication on the networks. After we define the function of presence in wireless ad-hoc networks, we discuss how to realize it. We then describe the Implementation of our test bed and a result of a preparatory experiment for calculating distance information using signal strength. |
