Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a distributed scatternet operation protocol for large-scale Bluetooth ad hoc networks. In this protocol, Bluetooth devices (nodes) act independently to construct and maintain the scatternet. This protocol is used for large scale network where two nodes may be out of communication range of each other. It is composed of neighbor-discovery protocol, scatternet-formation protocol, scatternet-adjustment protocol and scatternet-clear protocol. We focus on neighbor-discovery protocol and scatternet-formation protocol, and evaluate their performance by computer simulation.
