Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The electroluminescent (EL) properties and the lifetime of organic light-emitting devices are remarkably improved by doping two fluorescent dopants or a fluorescent dopant and a phosphorescent dopant in the light-emitting layer in this report. Poly-(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVCz) in the polymer system and 4,4'-N,N'-dicarbazol-biphenyl (CBP) in the low molecular system are used as a matrix. Perylene, 4-dicyanomethylene-2-metyl-6-4-dimetylaminostyryl- 4H-piran (DCM), bis(4-phenylimidazopyridine (Be(PIP)_2) and etc. are used as a fluorescent dopant and/or iridium-complex tri(2-phenylpyridine (Ir(ppy)_3) is used as a phosphorescent dopant.
