Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) High-Temperature Superconductor (HTS) receiving filter subsystems have been developed. The main components of these subsystems were filter, LNA, cryocooler, vacuum Dewar and cryocable. We adopted a pulse tube cryocooler, which was very reliable, in order to realize the tower top mounted RF-front-end. The compressor had a single-piston to miniaturize the HTS filter subsystems. 32-pole filters were fabricated on 3-inch wafer. It took less than 500 kHz from both band edges to obtain 30 dB cut off. Furthermore, we developed 24-pole filters on 2-inch wafer. The size and weight of the HTS filter subsystem having 2 sets of 24-pole filters and LNAs were 280mm(W) X 2lOmm(D) X 260mm(H) and 11kg, respectively.
