Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Interest in controlling the quality of service is now rising since it increases one's competitiveness in the market by guaranteeing customers a certain level of quality. Although SLA (Service Level Agreement) service is now being offered, it is difficult to guarantee the level because we cannot even measure the state of our own network. In this paper, we suggest a method of inferring the state of a network not by measuring it directly, but by measuring the state of the end-to-end path. In addition, we mention that result of simulation, too.
