Dynamic bandwidth allocation method for low latency EPON

Abstract(in English) The authors have proposed a new EPON(Ethernet-PON) dynamic bandwidth allocation method for low latency. Features of this method are ONU grouping by distance between OLT-ONU and allocating request message and data traffic of near ONU group to near unused time slots. These can make wait time of ONU upstream transmitting short. This paper shows a new method which change division number according to network traffic in order to achieve high TCP throughput.
