Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We express our feelings by using various expression means. Among these various expression means, facial expression is effective, because people can judge the meaning from the facial expression in his or her own way. However, it is not easy to express facial expressions in the exact intended way. Thus, this study aims to support expressing facial expressions which express user's thought with a 3D face synthesized on a computer. For this, "Emotion Map" is proposed as an interface for selecting facial expressions, and in order to apply the Emotion Map to text reading, the Facial Expression Selection System is implemented. In addition, an evaluation experiment is conducted to evaluate the efficiency of this system.
