| Abstract(in English) | There has been fewer psychological studies on face detection than those on face recognition. This paper reviews psychological research on face detection, and proposes that a framework of research on specificity of face recognition is useful for research on face detection. Additionally, I present recent works based on the framework. Finally, I discuss problems to be resolved and methodological issues. |
