Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Next-generation LEO System(NeLS)research center in TAO is proceeding to research and development of the global multimedia mobile satellite communication service. In this research, applying Internet Protocol for the Network layer control is under review. Using Internet Protocol, packets are routed through the path that configured in the configuration process, which executed before the regular use. But in LEO satellite network, satellites are moving against the ground continuously, so the configured data cannot be used without any change to the present IP technology. we examine on the applicability of present IP protocol to the LEO satellite network, and propose a new method for IP routing in the LEO satellite network.
