Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, We propose transportable/deployable antenna for high speed data communication experiments, using Engineering Test Satellite-8. This antenna is φ 400mm parabolic antenna with conductive woven fabric reflector. The antenna gain of transportable earth station for ETS-VIII is required to be above 12dBi. We measured the radiation pattern for the evaluation of electrical perfomance. The result obtained for gain and efficiency are 16.38dBi and 40% respectively. From these result, It is proved to be effective as a transportable earth station antenna for ETS-VIII.
