OLT Transceiver for ATM-PON systems

Abstract(in English) We developed OLT Transceiver for ATM-PON system. The optical transmitter applied the center wavelength 1.49μm DFB-LD corresponding to the new wavelength (1480-1500nm) of ITU-T standard G.983,3. The output power was in the range of -0.2~+0.36dBm on condition of - 10 - 85℃ ambient temperature. The developed receiver consisted of a preamp IC with a cell-by-cell AGC function, and integrated circuit of a forward ATC(Auto Threshold Control) function and a 2R(Reshaping, Regenerating) function. The maximum power difference between cells was 28.5dB on condition of - 10-85℃ ambient temperature. Receiver dynamic range was 28.5 dB ( -34.5dBm~-6dBm ) at 1 × 10^-10.
