Video Expression in Sport Live Broadcasting : Toward More Attractive and Comprehensible Sport Live Broadcasting

Abstract(in English) I will introduce video expression in sport live broadcasting. Video expression systems which has been experimentally developed begin to be used on a routine basis with the development of computer and video equipment. In sport broadcasting, live video is most important and it is desired to add complementary video expression to live video. Recently virtual studio technique which can combine live video and CG video is often used for sport programs with advance in size and operability of video equipments. In this paper, I will introduce some video expression systems and especially virtual systems for sport live broadcasting.
