Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Driving LiNbO_3 modulator with large-amplitude signal, optical frequency comb is generated with excellent stabilty. Conventionally, at least two optial modulators are required to generate flequency comb signal with good spectral flattness. We propose and demonstrate optical frequency comb generation with good spectral flatness, using a conventional Mach-Zehnder modulator asymmetrically dual-driven by large-amplitude sinusoidal signals with different amplitudes. 120-GHz bandwidth, 10-GHz spacing frequency comb was experimentally generated.
