| Abstract(in English) | We propose a high-speed versatile lightwave modulator which can generate on-off-keying, phase-shift-keying and frequency-shift-keying signals. 40Gbit/s optical FSK modulation was demonstrated by using the modulator consisting of six phase modulators, where frequency deviation was 80GHz. By using this versatile modulator, we can also generate lightwave signals of various modulation formats, such as QPSK, CSRZ-OOK, etc. |
