Abstract(in English) We propose new modular scalable switch architecture which is composed of an optical interconnection stackable modular system, and distributed scheduler. The scalability of switch which connects between the service cards must to have flexibly to respond increase of service requests. But, the scalability is limited by the bandwidth bottleneck of the electric connection. To solve this problem, we propose the optical interconnected stackable modular system with distributed scheduler. The distributed scheduler doesn't share resource assignment information. Therefore, the delay is not increased even if the system size increased, and the maximum throughput is maintained by using high bandwidth of optical interconnection. The proposed new modular scalable switch realizes wide range of scalability up to 1000 times. The service oriented platform can be achieved using this modular scalable switch.
