On Construction of Periodic Sequence on Algebraic Curve over Finite Field

Abstract(in English) In this paper, a construction method for a periodic sequence over a finite field F' from rational points on a algebraic curve over an extension filed F of F' is given. This proposed method uses cyclic property of rational points and trace function, and gives sequences with larger period than well-known conventional methods such as the methods with shift registers. Moreover three examples over elliptic curves and their evaluation by the balance test are shown. Unfortunately we show a few examples with good balance property because of small number of examples with small periods.
