Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a retrieval method based on subjective metric. Our proposed method is organized by 1) Extraction of expressive words and 2) Projection of quantitative features space. In our method, the user inputs expressive words in order to consider the difference of expressive words for each person. Our method projects subjective metric into the quantitative feature space. Thus, the user evaluates the sample data using expressive words. These sample data have characteristic elements. The quantitative features space is organized by quantitative values. For example, in the image retrieval, this space is organized by the colors and patterns. In this process, our proposed method considers the expression from multimedia data. By using the proposed method, the user can retrieve the multimedia data based on the subjective metric.
