Abstract(in English) A novel optical time-division demultiplexing (DEMUX) scheme enabling timing tolerance enhancement is proposed by using the unequally aligned pulse-position. Using phase modulation and a pulse-position change in dispersion material, 160-Gb/s demultiplexing is successfully demonstrated with timing tolerance enhancement of 2.4ps.
