Organic Thin-Film Transistor Integrated circuits using Self-Alignment Process Technology

Abstract(in English) We have investigated integrated circuit that consisted of organic thin-film transistors using self-alignment process technology, such as inverter and ring oscillator. Design of the level shift circuit was examined to improve a margin of a transmission characteristic of the inverter by a variation of the threshold voltage of pentacene FET. A wide logic swing was obtained using pentacene FET without dropping gain of the inverter with the newly designed circuit. Propagation delay of 24μs/stage was obtained and this value was shorter than the conventional pentacene circuit with same device parameters.
