Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The organic ultra-thin films deposited by Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) method are oriented a vertical plane. However it is difficult that molecules in LB films are put in order alternatively and that the orientation of molecules in parallel plane of LB films is changed. While molecules of L film were spread on the water surface, applied voltage was delivered between an electrode and the water surface, then the limiting area per molecule was able to be enlarged. The distance between layers of the LB films became short. These results suggest that the LB films by a method of electric field during dye membrane spreading are able to pattern in parallel plane of the LB films.
