Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The LBU+BP(Link Bandwidth Utilization+Blocking Probability) method is proposed as a prioritized routing algorithm for the MPLS network. This method categorizes links of the minimum cut in the network into three classes (high, middle, low) according to their bandwidth utilization and blocking probability, and decides a LSP (Label Switched Path) by weighting to select links of low and middle classes for a multimedia traffic or low class for a non-multimedia traffic. However, this method may select a path which might be highly blocked, instead of another candidates. This paper introduces a link selection method considering congestion status of the minimum cut, and improves the LBU+BP method. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, network simulations are executed.
