Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the demand for VoIP has grown, and then high speed systems to process large amount of call controls are required. SIP is a text-based protocol used for such call controls of VoIP. Since its message format is loosely defined, the processing load for each call becomes much higher, and the number of processing calls per server tends to be limited. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes Lightweight SIP for VoIP to reduce the load to process call control messages. Finally, the network experiments are discussed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
